I’ve known Steve Troxel for half a decade. During that time, I’ve learned that he is a tireless advocate on behalf of Constitutional principles and a champion of Liberty. Steve is also a loyal friend and an honest man whose integrity and love for our nation shine through. While I don’t know all the candidates in the field, I do know Steve Troxel, and I am certain he will be a powerful voice for our values.
The Honorable Tom Garrett
Congressman, Virginia’s 5th Congressional District
One of my first introductions to Dr. Steve Troxel was the evening that he sacrificed his personal time to help our committee understand the structure and functioning of the Republican Party. His humble, approachable demeanor and desire to help and teach were evident that evening and in every other interaction I’ve had with him since. These are the qualities that I appreciate in a State Central Committee member. I enthusiastically endorse Dr. Troxel for this position!

The following paragraph is an excerpt from a lengthy letter a mother wrote several years ago explaining how Doc Troxel kept her son – the first member of their family to ever go to college – from quitting school before his first semester even began, and how he continued to work with her son right through to graduation:
I have never forgotten the impact that [Dr. Troxel’s] kindness had on our family. Every success my son has experienced in his career – and there are many – are directly connected to that mentoring professor. Not only that, but my son is a great mentor to those in his department, taking the time to evaluate their strengths and weaknesses and helping them find their creative and natural talents to be successful. [My son] is admired and respected by his employers, his peers, and his employees – thank you, Dr. Troxel, for being the impetus for success and being faithful to care about the future and potential of others.
Shirley Coble
[At the beginning of 2016, Mrs. Coble’s son, who was going to leave college and go back to work the rest of his life in a warehouse, was promoted to Vice President of Broadcast Marketing for a large corporation that owns 62 broadcast stations.]
Former students recently sent these endorsements:
I was a student of Doctor Troxel, and I can personally attest to the character and integrity that Doc T always displayed in the classroom as well as in the local Lynchburg community. Whenever people would mention his name there was always a smile and something positive to say. Doctor T is one of those people that you wish more people were like in this world. I would be discouraged and weary and tired for class, and I would come out of his class laughing and feeling refreshed again. I served in the military while in school, and Doc T was also very supportive of my military service. Doc T has great patriotism, and I would compare him to the Patrick Henry of our time for his passion for country. I wish Doc T the best in his run to represent the Sixth District on State Central!

Dr. Troxel is what we need in the Republican Party. He is a man of high character and will go the extra mile in helping someone in need. I know Dr. Troxel on both a professional and personal level. While I was at Liberty University, he was both my academic advisor and teacher. Whenever I had a question about something, either with his class or other classes, he would take time out of his busy schedule and sit down and talk with me to find the solution to the situation. On a personal level, when I came to visit Liberty University (following my graduation), his family was always welcoming in letting me stay at their home and making me part of the family. I endorse Dr. Troxel. He is the man for the future.
