I’m Steve “Doc” Troxel, a family man, educator, business owner, and former chairman of the Lynchburg Republican City Committee. After I earned my Doctor of Philosophy degree (Ph.D.) at UVA, my students started calling me Dr. T or just Doc. Now most people know me as Doc.
At the end of my term as Lynchburg’s Republican Party chairman, I was content to just focus on our ground-game for getting candidates elected. Then the Vice-Chairman of the Sixth Congressional District, three of our District’s five State Central representatives, eight of the Unit Chairmen within our District, and several other respected Republicans within our District asked me to run for one of the three seats our District will elect this year on the State Central Committee of our Republican Party of Virginia (RPV) – which is sort of like the RPV’s Board of Directors.
The best way for you to find out more about me and why I have agreed to accept the challenge to represent the Sixth District on State Central is to explore my website.
In the coming days I will be defining for you my vision and my goals for State Central and for the RPV. We have a lot we can accomplish together. I hope you will join me for the journey.
Cordially,
Steve “Doc” Troxel, Ph.D.
P.S. Do you know why State Central is such an important committee in the fight to save our country from those who would waste our freedoms for their own selfish purposes? I’ll be addressing that in the coming days as well.
